Merry Christmas from Polo!!

Merry Christmas everyone! This is for the 12 days of sketches for TGF....I was using my Twilight inspired digis, but wanted to use this one for todays post so Polo could wish you a happy holiday from our family to yours! Hope everyone gets some family time, some relaxation, GREAT food, and of course, some fun new stamping stuff!! And yes, Polo got to open up one toy after midnight....he couldn't wait until morning!

The current challenge on the AI blog is to make a card/project using your New Years Resolution as inspiration. I used a set from AI called Olive You....


My New Years Resolution is to relax & have more peace and simplicity to my life....which of course I used the Peace sentiment and kept the card simple. I have had to prioritize some things recently b/c I've become someone that I don't like...I'm stressed out all the time and all I ever seem to do is complain....and that's not me at all. So I've had to cut down on some things starting in January, and even though the decisions were difficult, I am very excited about having more time to focus on ME.

This week, I used FREE digi stamps from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff, this set is called Joyful and Triumphant, and is available on Lindsay's BLOG in this POST. The design team got to help come up with this set! I used my suggestion for my card today, which got to be the name of the set!! YAY!


I love the simplicity of this card...the DP just sets it off....and if you know me, you know I hoard DP, but the card is worth it! Hope everyone is ready for the holidays!

Scraplings....

Yesterday, it was my turn on the ISS blog to do a tutorial for Method Monday. I am a paper hoarder....never throw any paper away that can be used, which is why I love the idea of scraplings. I make a lot of 4 x 4 cards, but don't want to throw away the paper that is cut off the side of the normal sized card....so SCRAPLINGS are a simple solution to use it! Here's how:

Materials Needed:
5 1/2 x 8 1/2 cardstock cardbase
Paper Cutter
Image(s)- I used Cocktail, a digi image from ISS
Designer Paper and Embellishments as desired
